The Hotel Monte Cenci was truly a gift for us during our stay in Rome. Our room was lovely, and we found the anniversary card and arrangement you left for us to be so incredibly considerate—thank you. The hotel itself has such rich history and character, and it is maintained so beautifully. We also found the upstairs terrace to be a very relaxing spot for drinks.
You and your front desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful, in particular, Simone. Please give him our “arrivederci” as we did not have time to do so in person.
The location of the Hotel Monte Cenci was perfetta for us. As Rome was a bit warm during our stay, we utilized taxis to and from the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Borghese Gardens, and even to the e-bike rental to ride the Appian Way—all very taxi-friendly! It was also wonderful to be able to walk across the Tiber to lovely Trastevere and to Campo de’ Fiori. The location is primo! It is not in a congested area next to the Pantheon, but rather in a beautiful and quiet area.
We hope to vacation in Rome again next year and make The Monte Cenci our home once more.
